Last Call: November 1 is the Deadline to make a Difference

During the summer, the Federal Aviation Administration asked the public to comment on the size of seats on planes and whether they were acceptable.  These comments will then be used to determine whether anything should be done or not.  The deadline to submit these comments is tomorrow - November 1st.

BE SURE TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD

Even though Congress has instructed the FAA to to establish minimum seat sizes on airplanes, the FAA has done nothing about it citing that the instructions did not require them to do so without incurring penalties.  Now the FAA is asking the public to tell them if they really need this.  OF COURSE WE DO.  If you have sat on an airplane in economy, you know that this is necessary.

Here are some simple instructions on what to do

  1. Go to the official website - https://www.regulations.gov/docket/FAA-2022-1001/comments
  2. Enter your comments
  3. Let FlyersRights know that you have submitted a comment by sending us an email with your comment at contact@flyersrights.org (optional)
